A reader who attended a recent event, asked a marvelous question. She said:
"I plan to do a Sacred Choices book study class as I feel this information will help many others. Do you also have any simple outline of possible tribal beliefs........and the illnesses that may occur?" -Pat
Great question, Pat. You must be tuning in to my energetic broadcast. In answer to your question, yes there are tribal beliefs that are associated with particular illnesses. Right now, I am in the process of cataloging them with the prescription for healing. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s available. But for now, let’s begin with autoimmune diseases:
Remember, that many illnesses begin with a conflict between your limiting beliefs and your spirit which consistently lowers your vibration. Life events such as such as trauma, pain, loss, and stress continue to lower one’s vibration and weaken the immune system. Illness begins in the etheric field, and I often see it hovering just outside of the body. I have seen illness move from the energy field into the body in as little as six days. Of course it is easiest to treat when it is in the etheric field and even easier to prevent it in the first place which is why I emphasize preventive medicine so much.
As a person’s vibration continues to lower, he begins to resonate with an “umbrella” of diseases. This is a cluster of illnesses that share some similarities. For example, leukemia and AIDS are under the same umbrella. As a person’s vibration continues to lower, vague symptoms begin. When I see the vibration of a particular umbrella, it is a warning sign of things to come unless a person makes choices to promote good health. The umbrella is a broad beginning to an illness, which without intervention, will eventually narrow to a specific diagnosis. Autoimmune illnesses are also grouped under one umbrella.
Each umbrella of disease not only shares a specific vibration, but is associated with specific limiting tribal beliefs. For example, I find people under the autoimmune umbrella have had “an inability to enjoy life” before becoming ill. The reasons they don’t enjoy life are specific for each auto-immune illness, and are greatly influenced by a person’s blueprint and archetypal makeup, and particular limiting tribal beliefs specific to that umbrella. Uncovering and changing limiting tribal beliefs that get in the way of enjoying life is not only a healing tool, but great preventive medicine.
That said, let me compare two auto-immune diseases, chronic fatigue and lupus. First, auto-immune illnesses generally begin with a severe emotional blow that attacks the immune system, such as the loss of a loved one, a failed marriage, loss of a job, or death of a pet. I can always trace back that tragic blow and the moment of profound injury that has weakened the immune system.
In chronic fatigue the feeling is that one is too tired of fighting fate, God, or the world. There is blame towards others, Higher Power, or life in general for life not working out as hoped for. Patients are angry and resentful yet generally hide these feelings with a smile that is tight in the corners. They try to carry on valiantly, even though they feel awful. This resentment and anger can even turn into bitterness. Any of these feelings will get in the way of enjoying life.
Particular limiting tribal beliefs contribute to these feelings. Specifically, a person is taught that enjoying life can lead to disaster because too much fun will cause a loss of discipline and order in life. The rule is that life is unfair and you just have to deal with it. Additionally, they are taught that struggle is a way of life, but a good person carries on. They feel proud about the medal on their chest showing that they have suffered and pushed through adversity.
With chronic fatigue the focus is outside of the person. There is a tendency to feel like a victim with no ability to change one’s circumstances. When I share this with someone with Chronic Fatigue the answer is inevitably “of course it’s hard to enjoy life and change anything, I don’t feel well.” But remember, we are talking about an energetic predisposition which means these energy patterns were established long before the illness manifested. Illness is a result of being out of alignment for a long time.
With lupus, again, there is also an inability to enjoy life. HOWEVER, the reasons are quite different. One feels undeserving, replete with feelings of shame and intense pain. There is an inward blame of self that gets in the way of enjoying life. People with lupus have never truly forgiven themselves—no matter how many therapists or programs they have worked.
Lupus carries the energy of a feeling of powerlessness to change life. However, do not confuse this with victim energy. A victim refuses to make choices to improve life because it’s easier to blame others. With lupus there is a feeling of overwhelm, such as “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up,” or “I’ve made mistakes and won’t let myself off the hook.” The focus with Lupus is within the person.
Some limiting beliefs to look at include:
I am powerless.
Some problems are too big, complicated or without hope to be solved. This includes my life.
Some people don’t have good luck.
Work comes before fun.
Don’t get too happy, because the other shoe always drops (on me).
Suffering is noble.
Good people don’t forgive themselves too easily.
Mistakes require punishment.
For all people with autoimmune disorders, it is important to look at the chapters on work, life, forgiveness, and adversity in “Sacred Choices.”
Remember that changing just one limiting tribal belief at odds with your spirit, will raise your vibration by taking you out of conflict, thus supporting your healing, and promoting good health.
It’s never too late to align with your spirit and live a wondrous life.
