One of the benefits of my work is that I see so clearly beyond what people claim is true about themselves. Sharing this information with a client is one of the first steps in beginning the healing process--another way of saying, "coming into alignment with your soul, so that your energy matches your words." At times this information can be a bit disconcerting for the person I am reading. However, by simply setting the intention to be open to the possibility that your energetic blueprint is who you really are, you can stop investing your energy in creating an illusion and own who you are at this moment. Then you can choose to change to become the person you wish to be. Great things are now possible.
Truth is a powerful healer. It can open many doors and create many opportunities to raise your overall vibration, leading to health and happiness. Said differently, you will finally understand why your life is not quite the way you want it to be, and what you need to do to change it.
I read a woman who claimed to be a very powerful healer who intimidated her friends, family and clients. In fact, she felt she was so powerful that she could have a tremendous impact on healing the planet just with her powerful thoughts--she expended great amounts of energy trying to convince both of us. I said a prayer for her to be open to a different possibility.
After fifteen minutes of insisting that she was a powerful woman with a tremendous purpose in life, I asked if she were ready for her reading. In terms of the priority for the reading, it took just 8 seconds to nail the problem. Her words did not match her energy. Her insistence on who she was lacked any alignment with her soul and definitely did not run through her chakras. I realized that to talk with her about all of this was futile as she was attached to her illusion. So I went for the New York reading:
I said, “so if you are so powerful, how come you are hiding in a closet so your husband doesn’t know you are having a reading with me?" (I could see where she was even though she hadn't told me). Needless to say, she didn’t like the answer and hung up.
My point is that we can get so attached to our illusions that Truth can stand in front of us and we might miss it. Please be open to other possibilities--beyond those that your pride has invested so deeply into.
This month our question comes from Mary, CA
Q: Why are people so afraid of God?
(Mary, CA)
Christel: The answer is quite simple, actually. There are religious teachings that say you should fear God; there are global tribal beliefs that say that God exacts vengeance from us; there are personal tribal beliefs that say we are not worthy of unconditional love; and there are many signs in the outside world that can be misconstrued as punishment from God---whether it be war, or sickness, or suffering.
Rebecca: Most of us have had a healthy dose of the angry or hateful God. Isn't it great to know that we can now choose the God that we worship? We can choose to believe the old ideas about God, or we can take a risk and start assuming that we are loved, that there is a wonderful life force in the universe that will help us, not punish us. It can take a period of consciously choosing to believe something different, but hey, remember, we can ask for help with changing our old ideas too.
