Christel's Corner: Ready for change?

:: CHRISTEL'S CORNER ::

READY FOR CHANGE?

The first month of 2008 is coming to a close and I wonder if you have made any choices to begin the movement of energy toward your dreams and goals? Remember that your thoughts can take shape as a vision or daydream in your mind that helps to create a picture of your future life. That picture can either raise or lower your vibration, and make your creation a joy or drudgery. Let’s make sure your thoughts, your energy, and particularly your picture, is one of your choosing and supportive of your desired outcome.

Do you desire a new job or relationship in your life? Would you like a more authentic or less stress filled life? Would you like to change your health habits, write a book, or have more fun in life? Pay attention to the vibration of the words you use when describing these desires. Do you use words like “difficult” or “takes a long time,” or “I’m not sure I can make it happen?”

When I hear you say, “I’ll never meet someone nice,” or I’ll never find a new job,” or it’s impossible for me to move or change my situation,” you are emanating a low vibration. And low vibration is slow, onerous, and uncomfortable to be around for any length of time. Low vibration energy severely slows down your progress. It can also make you scared and cause you to lose hope.

Begin February with a dedicated high vibration, by being more cognizant and spiritually responsible of the role your words, head chatter, and beliefs play in your life. Is it helping you in any way to focus on negativity? I thought not.

First, imagine reaching your goals easily. Use phrases like, “I can do that,” I’m open to all possibilities,” “no problem, I can try that,” or “I can commit to that.”

Second, talk about your goals with words filled with joy not difficulty. For some of us, the word “challenge” is exciting. Saying that your goal is a challenge can either rouse your passion, or defeat you in your tracks. Don’t use common words. Use words that lift your vibration.

Third, ask yourself if you are ready, willing and doing whatever it takes to fulfill your desires. If you are not truly ready to have that relationship, or you are not willing to make changes in your life to have a new relationship, then stop wasting your time trying to create something that will not come to be. Focus your energies elsewhere. Pining after something you think you should want, but don’t actually want, is a great way to lose your verve for life.

February’s Focus:
The flavor or vibration of your words will shape the outcome of your desires. Try and use high vibration words when thinking about your goals and creating your 2008.
